Dr. Douglas Stakes
Dr. Douglas Stakes has been practicing for over 30 years. He graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 1982, has been in south Austin since 1984. Since he began practicing chiropractic, Dr. Stakes has done extensive training and continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive, up to date, and advanced chiropractic care available.
Although he has studied numerous chiropractic techniques he specializes in Atlas Orthogonal and the Activator Method which is now highly recognized around the world as a premier technique and by alternative medical doctors like Dr. Andrew Weil.
Dr. Stakes' also performs Sacro-occipital technique, Total Body Modification, Diversified, as well as many others. Dr. Stakes' educational and practical training have provided him with a deep clinical insight and has allowed him to treat a wide variety of conditions with great success. We handle many difficult cases that have not improved with other chiropractic or medical care.
We are firmly committed to providing professional, ethical and quality care to all of our patients.
